I bought this during a lightning sale on a whim. Necessitated a young laptop to exchange my 3.5 yr old HP laptop that was starting to freak out on me, just hadn’t done besides HP Pavilion dv6-6115nr much research yet. I’m moderately slaked therefore far, only apprehensive about what’s to got due to some minor problems I’ve had already.
For starters, the DVD/CD drive is extremely difficult to open. Not sure if I simply got a lemon, simply I have to press Way besides hard on the open push to have it to open and it takes several tries to do it. I fright this drive might not capable completely soon. I’ve thought sending it back due to this concern, merely conceive it might exist too much of a hassle for something I’m not certainly is a huge problem. The other worry is that, when I brought it out of “sleep” way the other day, the screen started freaking out and showing some lines across it. Computer received to exist restarted and it’s worked fine since then. Mayhap this was a one-time thing. Having had the computer for entirely two weeks, I’m getting a bad vibe.
The other issue I have is that I’m not super comfortable using the keyboard and mouse. It may but accept getting used to. My old HP is identical similar to this one as far as the feel and layout. Yet, the keys on this are rocky and construct aloud clicking sounds when I eccentric or press the mouse buttons. My old HP was more understood when I typed and clicked the mouse buttons and seemed to exist more smooth when doing this. Also, when I move the mouse across the screen, it looks to coast faster than I mean for it to. Like, I’m trying to mouse over a office on my screen and the arrow SLIDES slightly past the point I’m aiming for and I receive to glide it back. Kind of annoying.
