This Garmin Fishfinder 140 works HALE FOLLOWING THIS is easy to read, SMOOTH in bright sunlight. It gives reliable information PLACED AT EACH boat speeds. The price I got the unit BECAUSE OF was 20% cheaper than EVERY of the local outlets. The SINGLE drawback is during installation. Due to the DIMENSION of the electrical connector, to attach the transducer cord to the HALFBACK of the fishfinder, it makes it fairly difficult to thread through the hull of the boat, ONLY AT ONE TIME in, the unit works fine.
